Insurance Coverage

If you are getting car insurance, you are probably wondering what kind of insurance coverage you need.  Talking with an insurance agent is one way to determine what kind of insurance coverage you need, but if you are price shopping with multiple companies, you will find that some of their plans differ.  It is often easier to tell the agent what kind of insurance coverage you want, rather than have them assess it for you.  Insurance coverage varies.  Some terms you will hear when discussing insurance coverage are:

Liability coverage, including bodily injury of property damage

Physical damage coverage, including comprehensive coverage and collision coverage

Uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage
